CHAIR SHIPPING RATES

Chairs must be boxed or wrapped to a pallet larger than the dimensions of the widest points of the chair.

Small chairs such as dining room chairs of less than 24 x 24 inches at the widest point can often be boxed using two boxes with one telescoped over the other and then taped with strapping, reinforced or duct tape.

Office, lounge chairs or stuffed chairs can sometimes be disassembled for more compact packing into a specialized box, or can be stretch wrapped to a pallet.

Fragile chairs should be boxed and packed with sufficient cushioning or crating.

The dimensions of the packed box, case, crate or pallet are critical to correct estimation of shipping costs as most chair shipments will have costs assessed the dimensional weight rated from inches as L x W x H / 139.

The most cost effective shipping of chairs are when they are boxed, crated or palletized with other cargo.
