Chargeable Weight

If the dimensional or volumetric weight is greater than the actual weight, the chargeable/volumetric weight of the shipment will be the dimensional weight and not the actual weight.

Dimensional weight factors/formulas are different for different modes of shipping and are set by the carriers.

Calculate the dimensional/volumetric weight of the shipment.

  • International and Domestic Air Cargo - (11 lbs / 6 kg) per cubic foot;

  • Express Air Parcel (UPS, FedEx, DHL & US Postal) - (13 lbs / 7 kg) per cubic foot;

  • Domestic Trucking - (11 lbs / 6 kg ) per cubic foot

  • Ocean Less than Container (LCL) - (32 lbs / 15 kg) per cubic foot;
